I would suggest to any ship's CO to include "How to identify ladyboys." in his weekly safety briefing. It's convenient that they want our ships back in their ports now that they have someone trying to snatch land from them again. The lease on the base should cost the US nothing and the Philippines should offer some natural resources (such as oil to pay for the ship's fuel costs) as a "thank you" for our protection from their new regional bully. The Philippines need the US, the US does not need them.
The PI is my adopted home. Having said that I don't wish to see a single American service member harmed in defending these Islands. After the way the PI government treated the US Military in the past they should have to stand on their own two feet. May they reap what they have sown IMPO.
