First off, let me say that I'm completely sold on this program, and it's free!

However, there are a couple of things to think about.

First, if you have your laptop password protected as I do, they recomend that you turn on the "Guest" account without a password. If the thief can't use it, you can't track it. So, you want the thief to be able to connect to the net.

Next, there are two features that I consider "last resort" or "after all else fails". One of these features turns on a siren and displays a message on the screen that the laptop is stolen. The other feature locks the laptop so that it can't be used. I don't think either of these features are good until all else fails. If you use either of these features, the thief may just throw the laptop in the trash (if I can't have it, I'll destroy it).

It makes more sense to me to let him keep using it until I can get a good location and/or his picture and/or (with luck), his email address, without him knowing that I'm doing it with the hopes of recovery.

    Just my opinion folks.
