    Pretty pricey too. $1000 USD.

    WOW!

No that's a way cool video thing.

Too bad I don't have 1K to spend on the basic piece.

But it could come down in price in the next five years if this new video tech "takes off" and grabs a slice of the market.

Might be something to keep an eye on...

    Thanks for sharing!

Looks nice, but I have seen many people on YouTube putting go pro's on a quad copter for much less. I can't see myself spending $1000USD on one.

    I've seen this done, too!

    Great, less expensive work-around.

The advantages about this new heli-video camera is that it doesn't seem to need a hand control, "ground control", and is portable.

I would imagine like most "widgets" that start off with high price points, is that if they become a wanted, "in demand" item, then the added mass production to meet consumer demand tends to lower their prices.

So maybe in five years this heli-video could be not only be more improved than what it is (imagine that!), but it could very well be selling at a lower price point.

If I needed one, then that's the time I would start to pony up some money.

Right now, I can see some occasions where I could use it, but the price point is too high for me to justify a purchase - just yet.

I appreciate the OP's posting of this. Keep it up!

It's a new toy to be on the look-out for.
