Just to keep you informed, and may be useful to some of you if you are involved in on line business/booking flights/phoning UK etc. British Summer Time (G.M.T. +1) finishes in the UK at 2 a.m. (UK time) on the 31st October, when all clocks go back one hour to exactly GMT. So from 0900 31st October (Philippines time) the Philippines will be 8 hours ahead of UK. So I'm going to have some more beer, and then have an extra hour in bed :D Cheers
UK clocks change from GMT to British Summer Time on Sunday 31 March 2013. The change takes place at 0100 GMT (0900 Phils time) when the clocks in UK move forward one hour and UK will therefore be 7 hours behind Phils time. The time change will last until October when they will revert again to GMT.
Stay wrapped up Jim. Don't you just love all the BS about global warming !!!!! That nice Mr. Gore seems to be something of a snake-oil salesman. :p
I think the correct term these days is - "climate change" and not global warming ? Although Gore does have a very valid point of view as to the causes. AND, he should have been President when he ran.............. O--O
Gore is only interested in turning a profit off of global warming. He will continue to state erroneous facts to keep the issue alive, and his paychecks flowing.
So how bad is "happy hour" impacted by the time change? Do you lose an hour or start earlier or stay later? One of the benefits of equatorial time, no adjustment required.
Just a reminder. The clocks go back by one hour in UK today (27 Oct 2013) as British Summer Time ends and the UK reverts to Greenwich Meant Time. This happens at 2 a.m. UK time, (9 a.m. Philippines time). At that point, the Philippines will become 8 hours ahead of UK time.
