    If you would be going somewhere, you should have knowledge about the place that you were going. It’s much better that you have some knowledge in the culture and history of the place. Philippines is one of the best places worth traveling because of its nice spots.

    Mostly, people are very excited when they are visiting a new travel destination. But, it’s important to make sure that we are properly prepared before going out to avoid frustrations.

    The climate in the Philippines is warm. Temperatures usually range from about 78 F to 90 F. Its humidity is averaging about 77%. During the month of March and May, usually, it’s hot and dry, so it’s a perfect time to go diving, swimming, snorkeling and going to beach. By the month of June to October, it is the rainy season, so if you’re thinking to travel these months, you must make sure to bring rain gear.

    When going to public market, Filipinos usually don’t take the first price that was rated by the seller. Learn how to haggle, don’t worry, it’s acceptable and for sure, it’s expected.

    English is widely spoken in the Philippines, but it’s much better to know and have some idea about common Tagalog phrases: simple greetings, common words, etc.

    There are places in the Philippines that have insects. Make sure to have insect repellants to avoid insect bites or allergies caused by insects.

    When riding by local transportation, make sure that you have loose change.

    Wearing casual dress is accepted everywhere, but when going to hotel or even to offices make sure you wear formal and descent dress.

    Summer would be perfect timing to go and visit the Philippines. There are lots of festivals and events that are taking places during these months. Feel the breeze of summer on many white-sand beaches and be fascinated at overlooking views of Baguio and Tagaytay. You may also take a dip in refreshing waters of modern resort facilities, all worth remembering.

    When buying, Metro Manila offers all kinds of products. All are found in department stores, stalls, and bargain shops. If you are looking for unique souvenirs, some are sold in Silahis, located in Intramuros, Landmark, SM department store. When you are visiting for some tourist attractions here in Philippines, those places also have their souvenir stores where you may buy and look for what you want.
