Looking to have some articles written about Bacong but for the life of me I can't think of anything in the municipality that would be considered a tourist attraction. Do they have any marine/nature sanctuaries in the area worth writing about? Decent beaches? Old churches? Any events worth noting?

The Bacong Church (built in 1866) is very cool, nice to roam around and look at. Turn at the market towards beach. It's right beside the city hall..

One unique site in Bacong is the Tree House Park on the water across from one of the oldest churches. The Bacong Market is popular as are the Bacong fish stands a little further down from the market. There is a neat barangay going up the mountain but a bouncy dirt and rock road going up there. Not much more.

There is also NOAH (Negros Oriental Arts and Heritage) just opposite the PNP station, near the Tree House.
NOAH sells some interesting local arts and crafts that range from high end stuff to the usual junk.
I believe they actually have an outlet some where in L.A. I was told.

[DOUBLEPOST=1434157014,1434157004][/DOUBLEPOST]There is also the story of the huge dragon living in the Bacong mountains who, when he gets thirsty, will drink all the water and the residents will go without water. This occurs frequently in the hot weather as it has been recently. Seems like he is thirsty again today.

Ah Noah, forgot about that one, quite interesting to walk around the factory area watching the intricate boxes being made from semi precious stones.
They also have Leon kilat day, when the the have some celebrations at bacong plaza, he was some guy who fought in Cebu.
