⌛ Tricycle/Ferry Pier

What should you pay from the pier to the central part of the city? I know here in Bohol they try to rip off the tourist at the pier but by walking a short distance you only pay 7p...

 

normal fair (7.50/person) avails in Dumaguete only for riding from the regular Trike stations or shared rides.

if you follow a "pusher" inside the port area you will end up with 50 Peso. If you walk the 200 meter out of the area and flag one down you get it for 15 - 20 Peso.

If you have not much luggage you can walk in 10 minutes from the pier to nearly anywhere central downtown.

Rip off tourist? Never........
When I went to Singapore on business a couple of months ago, on my return to Lumbia Airport I went out to a taxi and told him I wanted to go to Aplaya. He said it would be 2000 pesos. I told him no, I wasn't a tourist and the normal price should only be 1200 pesos. The taxi driver next to him laughed and open his door for me and said "1200 pesos is my price". I got in the second taxi.
