http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...it-has-lost-touch-with-financial-reality.html This proposed tax is being tossed around around the world.
Well Cletus, I must confess I dont know anybody with a home worth £2 million plus. The article I now post is is stating a proportionate tax not so much on the value of the property more on the actual income of the owner, which on the face of it seems fair. What one must take into account is, low wage earners within the London area for example, cannot find affordable housing because demand outstrips availability. Lower paid workers and indeed some who are reasonably well paid, share homes and apartments with up to 10/12 people in the capital city! The further North you go here in UK the cheaper housing is, however there is also a shortage of fulltime jobs unless you have special skills.....Regards JB http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/pol...wn-Parliamentary-aide-expresses-concerns.html
Well JB, once this new tax is instituted they will simply adjust to lower and lower priced houses until they get money out of everyone. Cheerio and good luck ol chap.
