    There seems an error in the link:
    Negros Occidental belonged to Central Visayas Region (Region VII) and Negros Oriental was part of the Western Visayas Region (Region VI).​

    It should be the other way: Negros Occidental belonged to western Visayas (Region VI) and Negros Oriental to Central Visayas (Region VII).
