    Oh, I know I will feel so at home in the Phils when I see pictures like that: the guys in the white en orange T-shirts are the supervisors, the guy with the bandana is the foreman and the guy holding the spade high is looking for his coffeebreak. Five men and only one is actually doing something - its (Dutch) civil servants to the core.....

    ....or for that matter CALTRANS workers in California. I had a neighbor who worked for them. I once asked him, "are you one of the three guys leaning on a shovel, the one leaning on the broom, the guy down in the hole digging, or the guy that watches all of them do nothing?" He replied. "neither. I'm the one in the Caltrans truck, eating donuts, and reading the newspaper with the air conditioning on, but hey, I've worked for CALTRANS for over 20 years, and I deserve it!"
