How to Uploading Images to Dumaguete Info Forum

I have noticed some having problems with resizing pictures to upload here;
I hope this might be a simple way to help those of you with a PC running Windows with the Program "Paint"

HOW TO RESIZE YOUR IMAGES IN PAINT & SAVE TO JPEG

In Microsoft (Windows dependent) Click on the Start Button

If Paint is not in your Programs; in the "Search Programs and Folders" Box type; Paint

It will show in the above Pane, click on it (Paint)

Once open, Click on the Blue Button above the Paste Icon

Click on Open

Browse to the Folder/Directory where you have your image

Click on it (your image)

Click Open

It will now be open in Paint

Click on Resize

Click on Pixels

Type in 800 in the box with the larger number

Click on OK

Your picture will now be 800x Pixels at the largest (eg: 800x600)

Again; Click Open

Click on Save as

Choose JPEG picture

Rename your original image with 800x at the end (so you know which is the resized image, as well you keep your original large image which you can have printed out as a Picture due to better quality than the smaller 800x pixel image suitable for uploading)

Once named, Click on Save

Then; in Dumaguete Info Forum, follow the steps using the "Upload a File" Button and add your image/s (if more than 1 image you will need to select which images you wish to upload)
