    No Marky, I did not get a pedicure but I did get a sun tan walking to Valencia and back to my home in Cantil-e.:D

    You are welcome Tom. Valencia is only 9.4 km from Dumaguete and is a place that I go to once in a while. The people there are very nice and I always have fun talking to them. I think the last headcount was about 25,000 people that live there and the area covers approximately 150 km, and that is a lot of area. It is cooler there than it is in Dumaguete and you can drive up most of the mountain roads there, even the ones that are unpave. The municipality is also the site of a geothermal power station operated by the National Power Corporation. It generates electricity that supplies the needs of Negros, Panay, and part of Cebu.
