A bit of good news for foreigners planning to visit the Philippines: The DFA has extended the visa free stay, which is granted to a number of nationalities upon arrival, from 21 to 30 days. This mean, that visitors can now stay 9 days longer without having to go to a local immigration office such as the one in Dumaguete and pay for a visa extension to 59 days.
