 Oops! There may be a few that will not like this, there will be a few that may not believe it BUT it IS true! Today, Azon told me, that the Water Pump was completed. At a cost of 25.000php, we have now a Hand Pump on the lot. We Contracted a member of the family, who specialises in Water Pumps. He drilled to 27ft (His first estimate was 40ft) Eureka! Water in Abundance. I am in NO way, trying to sell any product or service, I am merely telling my fellow members, that water for Boiling, Washing, the Garden and other uses is there. It just needs tapping!

Why would anybody not like it? So Jack your saying you had the entire system drilled and installed for p25,000 or just the pump? This is very interesting to me, I have water issues. I have been pondering drilling myself. I am curious what your up to over there...

    Drilled and Pump Fitted 25.000php!

UP TO? just drilling, Insert a poly pipe, cap and attach a hand pump Purchased locally down town. Dumaguete (most Parts) sit on a Good Water table. It is not always potable (Drinkable) but it is there.
I say some would not like it, as they have paid an awful lot more, for a lot less result.

"up to" in terms of your construction projects in general, I believe you mentioned previously your building a house. Hope I do not seem to nosy but I love hearing about other people's projects. I need water livestock and irrigation. I have a small stream I am planning to try and utilize but I know I have water I could reach by drilling and that you did it at that price is interesting.

Good job Jack (Azon), sounds like a hassle-free job. Will you eventually put a pump and tank when you build your house? My simple solution (house water to tank) is working out nicely.
Hope you had a good b-day.

    No Problem.

Bounty! the " UP TO " Bit just took me aback a little :o certainly no problem at all, After all we read about water supply, it seemed best to explore ALL avenues. As time goes bye, maybe I will post our progress, as there are some that have genuine Interest as you have indicated. Hope others can draw from any experiences, as we have, from the Threads and posts here. That's the beauty of a Forum like this, shared Ideas, Pitfalls, Advice and certainly help when it is offered.
I guess it will be a Watch This Space for a while :D
    Temporary fencing next!
