    Mindanao - A young Cuvier beaked whale stranded on Friday at the beach of the Cadunan district in Mabini, Compostela Valley. - The boss of D'Bone Collector Museum Darrell Blatchley says the 4.69 meter long whale stranded on March 15 was reported by fishermen to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources - Davao Region Fishermen and BFAR-11 personnel brought the whale three times into deeper water, but each time it returned to the beach and died on Saturday at 10:30. The whale was taken to the D'Bone Collector Museum in Davao City , and found to have about 40 kilo of plastic waste in his stomach. Blatchley says the stomach contains 16 empty rice sacks, four empty sacks of a banana plantation, and countless plastic shopping bags.

    What a dum-dum, whales can't survive on plastic nor can they survive on beaches. Must have dropped out of whale elementary school. :rolleyes:
