What kind of fish is this???

    I was fishing in Mobile Bay here in Mobile, Alabama and I caught this fish. I have NO CLUE what it is, so if anyone can identify it, I would very much appreciate it. I am very curious...

    Looks like a Sunfish to me. I throw them back!

    Looks like a perch they are common in the lakes of northeastern U.S. but they are the yellow perch variety almost the same color with a yellow belly

    Maybe a Bluegill? There common in the southeastern states...

    well my friend i believe u caught a sheepshead fish ive caught many before and if u want to check it out look up pics of sheepshead fish on google.
