Spray the little F-rs with Baygon pretty much every day, it kills them but the next day the cousins show up, repeat. I remember seeing a three pack of fogger cans at handyman in the mall a few months ago, now that I need it - out of stock. Want to use foggers since I can't find where the d*mn little bugs are coming from. Sometimes little ants but usually things about half the size of an ant.

I will gladly accept other ideas if you know one that works.

I always sit the little rectangular plastic containers full of amber colored poison syrup (with an orange label) near their marching lines/entry points. They love the taste of it and carry it back to their base to poison all their little buddies and queen. They are gone in a day and never return. When I see a different colony start marching in...rinse, wash, repeat. I bought a package of 20 or so of these traps at Handyman a long time ago. They might still have them.

We wipe Malathyon (sp) on the foundation of our house. Be sure to use gloves, it's nasty stuff.
The ants do not re-appear for a couple of months.
The smell is terrible for a few hours but worth the annoyance.
Available at most Agri Vet stores.

The only place I remember seeing the foggers was Handyman. But, I used to use liquid Terro with some success. It is nearly impossible to eradicate the ants, as they have tunnels and tunnels under our homes and the land our homes are on, it is amazing how large the tunnels go!!

I believe for low cost Boric acid "Boraxo" mixed with sugar, works the best. But, I have not found it yet in the Philippines. I have been using Terro Liquid Ant Killer. They sell it at Handyman across from Lee Plaza, they didn't have it at Handyman Robinson's Place.

The traps you bought are out of stock (how shocking LOL) but they did have the liquid you drop on squares of cardboard. I put them on the windowsill and in the doorway. Seems to be working well as I haven't seen anymore inside. The bugs just come to one of their "feed bowls" and go home, fewer each day. THANKS!

I did buy those traps about 5 years ago, not a surprise they would be out of stock now. I forgot I had them until 6 months ago when the ants ruined one of my rum and cokes I sat on the table. That crossed the line and voided the peace treaty, no other choice but to genocide them.

When I moved into my apartment in Valencia I saw armies of ants parading on their little, defined routes. I used the clear Terro liquid on cardboard and they were gone promptly. Left the place for two months of travel expecting that I would be overrun on arrival, but they were nowhere in sight. After being here for a few weeks, I started to notice them just a little bit. Finally rolled out the Terro today and they must have made an announcement about the free food because they massed at the chow-down. Actually ate all of the bait I put out, so I replenished and they are still eating. It appears that they are now on crack cocaine as they are running around in just a bit of a frenzy. I just hope they get some back to the queen, and then they will be gone for quite a while, I guess. I love chemistry....I mean...nature!
