Just another brand of Pilsen, which I prefer to San Miguel, but not sold in many bars.

I too prefer Beer N Beer and it is cheaper than SM Pilsen, the reason it is not sold in many bars is that SM will provide fridges etc. if the bar only sell SM beers.

I live closer to Sibulan and get my Beer N Beer from the market there, most stores there sell it.

Wow, I didn't realize "Beer na Beer" was still around! I lived outside Manila in the 80's when they first introduced it, and I remember there was some pretty heavy legal wrangling between Asia Brewery and San Miguel, who was trying to shut them out. I remember BnB becoming available even in neighborhood sari-sari stores, so San Miguel took the threat very seriously. Asia Brewery was also brewing Carlsberg under license locally and it tasted pretty good as I recall, but I only saw it in bars in Manila. Side note, last time we were here (November-December 2015) we had a free hotel/overnight in Hong Kong because of an airline snafu, and an airport convenience store (7-11?) had cans of locally-brewed San Miguel which tasted at least as good as the Philippine product.
