Where to get assistance for rental

I am looking for a long term rental 1 year+ two bed air con close to the city centre

I see in thie forum a few pointers to real estate companies but from threads started last year.

Who are the best people to approach now?

I will be arriving in July.

Steve, this is an often asked question. There are numerous rental companies around; islandsproperties.com and rkyislands.com are just two of them, although the first named seems to pitch the prices a bit higher than the true market value as they target the expat market. However, the best advice given is always the same and it's sound advice. Stay at a hotel for a while, they're cheap enough, rent a bike and get around the area to see possible rentals and check out locations and facilities for yourself. There are plenty of places for rent that are advertised privately without using an agent. Once you find where you want to be, the rest is up to you in terms of haggling for a fair rental price.
