Hi everyone, so my bestfriend also a Piano Performance major (lone two of us in the batch) is having his solo piano recital this coming Friday, April 20. So maybe you guys might be interested to watch his performance. It would be also great as events like this is something not in the "usual" list as being a tourist, or say expat and/or maybe, some other "route". :D You know, maybe if you've got nothing to do in that evening and wanted to be somewhere "new". One thing, don't expect how professional pianists would perform, because of course, we are NOT even halfway to their level. We're still students and has just started, so we're kind of still amateurs. So, bare the mistakes, and enjoy the music. :D Any event, I still don't know where the venue will be and what time exactly is the recital. I will update this thread once all the needed information is verified, but general rule for recitals is that. No shorts, and no sandals. I had mine last month (March 12) but i still didn't know this site by the time, i could have invited you. Maybe next time. :D Anyway, cheers! :D
Jopliniac, I will be there, of course. For those who might want to attend, it is this Friday (20th) 7pm at the Luce auditorium at Silliman, and it is free. I have heard Winfred play, and while he is not "professional" level, you can rest assured you will hear some excellent piano at a price you can not complain about!
Hey, Fellow Traveler, Oh yes, of course. He works so hard for preparing his solo concert. I know he will do great. See you there at the concert! :D
