A forum in line with the Women’s Month celebration will be held today at the City Sangguniang Session Hall in Dumaguete City, with Local Council for Women chair Phoebe Tan, Judith Alpuerto of the Provincial Planning and Development Office, and City Sports coordinator Ike Villaflores as guest speakers. Other activities in the annual Convention of Women’s Organization in the city are folk dance competition, minus one singing contest, and jail visitation at the Women’s Dorm of the City Jail in Barangay Bajumpandan. The Gender and Development and other women organizations are also expected to participate in a forum and workshop on March 27, with the Visayan Forum Foundation Inc., at Negros Oriental Convention Center in Dumaguete City.
