They are beautiful. I 'collect' Australian art from mid-tier artists here in Australia that I think will move along in coming years. You'd be amazed how much of it I get off ebay. While I'm really not into the sort of thing you're presenting - lovely as it is...I'm running out of space on the walls LOL and it really wouldn't fit with our Australian themes....Have you tried flogging it on ebay? Maybe you have relatives overseas that could do it for you? Anyway good luck with it!

This was my latest acquisition - a couple weeks ago. Great rendition of hot as hell remote northern Australia by an artist that I'm striving to get more paintings from. Friendly advice - switch to oil. REAL scenes in the Philippines - not the usual crap beaches and palms...or artificial simulated modern rubbish that fills up galleries - and doesn't sell. Remember you are competing against 200,000,000 Chinese, Vietnamese, and Koreans who mass produce sh*t. Thousands of real scenes you could paint....don't have to be pretty - just real....poverty....joy...fiestas.....Paint the real Phillipines and post it here...I might buy a few myself and dedicate a room to it......tired of the mindless stuff I've seen in galleries - when I know the talent is there to do much better.

 

my work is not painting...its actually cross stitch...its on a cloth and i stitch the design, a small square at a time...But i know of someone who is a struggling artist here in dumaguete who really paints the real day-to-day activity here in the Philippines...i will ask him to have the paintings posted here so that you will see...
