What was the first car you owned? Mine was a 9 year old ‘56 Chevy when I was in the military. Not a hot rod (the ‘55 and ‘57 were the more popular years). A V8 automatic.

Morris Minor 850 4 Door Sedan followed by a Morris Minor 1000 4 Door Sedan followed by a Morris Minor 850 2 Door Sedan with 1000 running gear that I chopped the Roof on 4 inches, followed by another Morris Minor 850 2 Door Sedan with 1000 running gear before buying a 1952 FX Holden Sedan. LOVE my OLDIES!

My Dad had I think a 1949 Standard/ Vanguard Station Wagon, from memory it had a Tractor engine in it that overheated everywhere we went. LOVED that lil Car and would love to own one again one day

1989 Pontiac Firebird. Not the one with the 350....mine had a crap 305 in it. The car was cursed and in the shop more than it was on the road. But me being 16 years old and treating it like crap (and hitting things with it) might have had something to do with that.

I thought it looked cool at the time....I despise that model now.

My first car was a 1952 Chev. custom, 3 on the column, 6 banger. Cracked the block the first winter, couldn't afford antifreeze. First NEW car was a 1974 AMC Gremlin X. It was a piece of poo to the point that I traded it off while it still had 3 years of warranty left on it. I was not surprised when ANC went belly up.
