We packed that night and hit the road by 7:15am the next morning. With the suzuki swift all loaded up and coffee in hand we drove via the Mabinay route over the mountain and into Bacolod to arrive at 11:30am. There&#039;s 7 universities here in Dumaguete and yesterday was Founders Day at Silliman which included a parade and then live bands and food along the boulevard in the evening. Thousands showed up for this as Silliman has alumni going back to 1901. <br />

The Crew of PG took very good care of us, the location is very nice, the drinks were cold,  the food good and bikerdave a great host, not getting tired to prepare some snacks at 4 am for the members who were somehow glued to their chairs...<br />

A friends invitation made me come at 5am to Freedom Park where the government of Negros Oriental is located. Of course I forgot my snapshot camera but was even more surprised about the pictures my little cellphone captured (no photoshop here).<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[The 83rd Founders Day of the Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) in Dumaguete just ended with a big Fireworks. This afternoon a flamboyant parade rolled through Dumaguete with wonderful costumes and great street dance performance.<br />
<br />
14 groups from (9 from Dumaguete from the colleges at the main campus in Dumaguete and 5 from the external ones in Bais City, Guihulngan, Bayawan City, Siaton and Mabinay) danced through the afternoon heat under the theme:<br />
