Kamlig | Dumaguete Info

Taking it’s name from the local dialect for Nipa Hut (Grass roof), Kamalig is an extremely popular hang out, music venue and food court. With live music daily, super fast service and excellent food it’s no wonder Kamalig is so popular.

On my first visit to Kamalig I was blown away by the quality of the food to price ratio, excellent service and great atmosphere. Our waiter Fred was especialy astute, maintaining his tables flawlessly, with eyes in the back of his head he was always on hand for ordering and assistance. The extensive menu contains almost 100 dishes including beef, pork, chicken, goat, fish, noodles, soup, some vegetable options and a selection of deserts. Drinks are also very affordable.
