Harold’s Mansion is a well established names in Dumaguete. It’s synonymous with budget travelers but maintains high standards throughout. Free coffee and tea, internet and breakfast is available for all guests and friendly atmosphere permeates throughout.. It is also one of the only eco-friendly venues in Dumaguete, fitting solar panels, solar water heating and water free urinals it’s sure to attract the eco-conscious traveler. All rooms are spacious and clean and there’s an entertainment room with a huge TV, bar and internet cafe (Wi-Fi is also available free). A rare feature for budget accommodation is the use of hot and cold showers.
My visit to Harold’s Mansion was a very serendipitous accident, locking myself out of my house. Even though I arrived late without booking (not a good idea) I was lucky enough to get one of their 38 rooms and had a good night’s sleep. In the morning there were activities available too, including great value trecking, diving and sight seeing excursions to some of the best beauty spots in and around Dumaguete. All of which I can personally recommend.
For any new visitor to Dumaguete you won’t go far wrong staying at Harold’s Mansion, it’s a business which is run like a family to make you feel relaxed, safe and at home
