Everyone here at El Galleon and Asia Divers celebrated the recent awards from PADI. Asia Divers was presented with the Outstanding Dive Centre/Resort Business Award and Warren Dixon was presented with the Instructor Development Award. Jimmy Christrup was here to present them, and to throw one heck of a party on PADI’s behalf. It sure is nice to get a pat on the back from PADI!

CDC (Career Development Centre), is the highest level of PADI Dive centre in the dive industry. Asia Divers CDC is operated by two PADI Course Directors. The PADI 5 Star Career Development Center (CDC) is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center (IDC) that meets all PADI 5 Star IDC requirements and has dedicated its business to professional development training beyond introductory instructor development courses.

The PADI CDC award recognizes progressive and professional 5 Star IDCs who have committed resources to dive industry career training.
