La Vie Parisienne
After our one week vacation in Palawan, we traveled to Cebu City. Before we went back to Dumaguete, we had the chance to roam around Cebu for one night. My mother brought us over to this place called La Vie Parisienne which means ‘Parisian Life’ in English. The first French Boulangerie, Pastry Shop & Wine Library in Cebu. A great overview of tasty french wines and products. The restaurant does not look fancy outside, but you will be amazed when you go inside. Its actually better if you come here during night time because of the wonderful lights in the area it really glows at night. La Parisienne is located in Lahug, Cebu City, their French Bakery is an ideal place to dine, chill and hang-out with family and friends. The name of the restaurant it self is very intimidating. But I tell you, there is more to that when you visit the place. The outdoor dining area is very presentable along with the artistically made tables and chairs that will surely welcome you as you enter. The place is surrounded with pink tree resembling cherry blossoms trees.
Inside the Store
Before going inside the dining area, you would pass by their store which sells french macaroons, pastries, wine, imported chocolates, cold cuts, and a lot of bread choices. My little cousin really enjoyed putting bread inside the basket. To be honest, I really don’t like bread products but as I tasted their bread, I was very satisfied. The flavor would really melt inside your mouth. Their bakery smells good and you would really know that they serve delicious food. You can also see how they bake their bread. Their wine area or their wine library is like a mini cave part which is very nice and they even have a mini bar inside. This is called the wine library because there are different kinds of wine inside. About the menu, it’s not really that expensive. You may think that the place is just for the rich people but you are wrong. As a matter of fact, the place is budget friendly. Its not that expensive after all despite the intimidating name of the restaurant. I really like how they arranged everything. It’s like you’re also in France and you would slight forget that you are still in the Philippines.
At the garden area
Inside, there is also a restaurant which is designed like a castle. I went to the roof top and I saw the whole view of the place. The feeling is so magical. I really love the ambiance which is perfect for a dinner date. It is so relaxing to stay here and I feel like I am a princess waiting for my prince. I would really suggest that you include this place in your list of activities and I would suggest you take photos because this place is indeed a wonderland. Bring your love ones and invite your friends to just hang out and forget about the busy schedule for a while. You would never regret your visit here.
