At the crocodile nature park
As I stated in my fourt article about Palawan, we were on our City tour. Our first stop was the crocodile nature park. After our visit at the park, our next stop was the butterfly garden. Inside the garden, we saw some butterfly eggs. The garden is surrounded with butterflies all around. Aside from butterflies, there are also other insects in the place. Here are some photos of insects that you could see in the area. The place also has a area in which a real tribal group is staying. You can witness a short show in which they will show you their way of living. From their musical instruments, their carved furnitures, their food and their ethnic dance. We also saw how they make fire easily and how they shoot an arrow. After their show, they showed us their pet which they called a worm but it is actually a big snake. Afterwards, we went back to our van and we were all set for our next stop which is the weaving place. The area is a local business for people who knows how to weave bags, wallets, floor mats, and other types of clothing. They will make this stuff and sell it as souvenirs. We saw how they make it and we had the chance to try their equipment. This is their source of income.
The view of Honda Bay in Mitra Farm
We stayed in the place for 20 minutes. Afterwards, we went to our next stop which is the Mitra Farm. In the farm, you can see the whole view honda bay Palawan. The farm offers some horse back riding and a zip line. We stayed in the place for 20 minutes we took some photos and we prepared for our next stop which the Bakers Hill. Before we entered the bake shop, we had the chance to taste their famous tamilok or the wood worm. Yes, it can be eaten and it taste like an oyster. After that, we went inside the bakery and we bought some sweets.
The famous tamilok
After paying for our food, we went inside Bakers Hill. Inside the park, is a playground. There are also several food stalls and restaurants inside. The architecture inside is very unique and wonderful. We took some photos and we ate our snacks in the park. We stayed in the area for 30 minutes.
At the entrance of Bakers Hill
After eating, we had to get ready for our next stop which is the souvenir shop as it is writen in our iterenary. Aftern our visit in the shop, we went to Honda Bay. We did not go down we just passed by the area. After that we went back to our hotel. We arrived at the hotel at around 7pm. We had a short nap for an hour and then we went to another famous restaurant in the downtown area. The Kinabuchs bar and grill. The placed serves delicious meals and they have a good customer service crew. After eating, we went back to our hotel and slept. I will finish my last article about our vacation in my 6th article.
