Located at Rovira Road, Bantayan, Dumaguete City, the Angtay Golf Club and Driving Range began operations in the year 1998 when the need for a golf course and practice range that was conveniently near the city presented itself as a business opportunity for one Mr. Wilson Chua, proprietor of Angtay Golf Club and Driving Range. The sudden increase of the sport’s popularity among the Dumagueteños was enough to convince Mr. Chua to turn his property into what it has become today.

The initial concept was really to call the establishment Angtay Sports Complex because facilities in the original plan would have included a tennis court, basketball court and a badminton court.
9 Hole Golf Course

Angtay Golf Club and Driving Range has a 9-hole course with a relatively flat terrain ideal for practice. It includes a water hazard, sand traps and well maintained greens. Golf clubs can be rented out and golf caddies are constantly around should the need arise.

The driving range itself has a capacity of about ten to twelve people. Ample designated areas are individually marked for safety and precautionary measures. Golfers can practice their swings without having to worry on causing injury to others. On some occasions, the club organizes a golf clinic handled by a professional golfer. Tournaments are done regularly and often participated by members of the club.

You will also find restaurant serving snacks and sandwiches in Angtay Golf Club and Driving Range, traditional filipino savory meals and cold refreshments such as beer and soft drinks. The club specialty, the Chinese Lomi Soup, is a favorite item on the menu and as such, is always a winner.

Angtay Golf Club is also a popular venue for childrens parties, weddings and other special occassions because of its expansive area. The Club also offers catering services.

Lifetime membership fee is $400 plus a monthly fee of $32, entitling the golfer unlimited access to the greens. For visiting players and guests, the green fee is only $16 for an 18-hole game and $10 for a 9-hole.
