With a negative degree rake, unlike the store bought mini-rakes, Bad Chicken has a setback rake so it does the digging rather than straining your forearm all day – think “plow”. Comfort handles range in different sizes and shapes utilizing the local Philippine hardwoods like Gmelina and Calabash. Rake is anchored to a 1/2″ shank epoxied through half the wood handle. Metal is primed and top coated. Handle is lacquered with three or four coats. Prices range from 180 – 340, and have five on hand until building more.
