Can anyone tell me where to buy furniture, Tried Lee plaza and Robinson's. Lee Plaza are asking 10,000 peso's for a single bed, according to wife. Is that too much, I have no idea of cost.
    Any suggestions!

It doesn't sound way too high to me but it might be, subject to quality. Is it for box spring and matress or is it a bed frame you can directly lay a matress on, as I have seen there at all the hotels and GF home I stayed at? If matress and box spring, several milk crates or 5 gallon buckets underneath with a dust ruffle thrown over it would do for me. I believe there was a recent thread on having bedframes built which may be helpful, if you have time to have one built.

Two blocks from the market downtown you can get a bamboo single or double bed for 600 or 800 pesos. Throw a foam mattress on it for 2,000 and you are in business.
