    Strange how English dialect can make something sound very unappetizing.

    You say black pudding and talk of pork.....I don't think of blood sausage, I think chocolate pudding with chunks of pork meat in it.....which just sounds disgusting.

    You say chicken/pork/beef pie and I think of a desert (apple/cherrie pie) with meat in it.....but chicken/pork/beef pot pie sounds awesome. (Don't know why that word "pot" changes the mental image).

    Then my friend this one will slay you, A Cornish pasty, made for the plowman, Tin Miner in Cornwall England as a Poor mans midday meal. A complete meal in One. At one end is meat and potatoes/vegetables and the other a fruit Filling.
