    I am not sure where they got their stats on that image. Two tablespoons of rice wasted? I've never seen such a thing, most lick the plate to get the last grain of rice.

    Haha nor have I, the plate is always clean especially the rice! My mrs will polish off a rice cooker full if she can with the fingers. I really cannot understand how plain rice with no flavour can be enjoyed this much with no sauce!

    I don't get it either. So bland without anything on it. At the very least I need salt (preferably Tabasco sauce) with my rice. sh*t makes you fat though, I only eat it when I'm being cheap....or have some of that Jollibee gravy to throw on it. :wink:

    Considering the locals have so many kids, they are probably getting that stat from the amount of rice the kids dump on the floor as they are filling their plates. Also, if you have rice stuck to the bottom of the rice cooker, then that can add up. I usually boil water in the rice cooker to clean it up and it's surprising how much rice comes out of a seemingly thin layer at the bottom.
