    I have heard that there is a very big typhoon heading this way, I have no proof of this yet, any one heard anything?

    As Mark Twin observed, "Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it."

    I only did 4 years of search and rescue when I was in the U.S. Coast Guard but one of the things I learned was no one, including the government, can do anything about the weather. It's going to do what it's going to do. One of the keys is don't panic, learn to live with it, prepare within reason and enjoy the ride. You are not in control. Mother nature always wins. Always. Relax.
    And yes, November was always the worst month by far, with December a close second.
