I'd rather see a nonsense topics started for side conversations than having every thread taken off topic. If you don't know where a thread should go put it in the "General Chat" section.

    As for retiring in the US: I think there are many locations in the US that will wind up being a lot cheaper than the Philippines. The only real financial benefit to the Philippines is the cheap beer (and rum), the cheap smokes and the women.
