Hi JP. Ned Kelly was an Australian Bush Ranger ( Highwayman/Outlaw) who operated in Victoria Australia, in the 1800's. I don't think he was as sophisticated as Dick Turpin - lol - There have been several movies made about him, and yes, Mick Jagger did play Ned on one of the movies. There was at one time an 8,000 Pound reward out for him and his gang, which was a considerable sum in those days. He was unique in one sense, that he wore a suit of armour fashioned out of plough shares. He ws probably the most famous of the Bushrangers, but therewas also Captain Starlight and Captain Thunderbolt who both operated in New South Wales at about the same time. Among others of course. Ned Kelly migrated to Oz, with his Irish family, and fell on hard times, even before he started stealing he was accused of horse stealing, which at that time he was innocent, he escaped, and that put him on the run thereafter.
Shows I am not yet Totally Conditioned I am Early Maybe it is time for a beer You will be Reprimanded for telling me this you know People might have wanted a day off from Ole Jack and his Constant Trivia and Humour I hear them say but most members know that I should not be confused with a man that gives a S....t JP
Actually I think in the US, Jesse James had a similar start to crime to Ned Kelly, in that he did not actually intend to be an Outlaw, I believe the Railroad hired thugs killed his parents by accident, when they would not sell their property, and he sort revenge ? Maybe Wrye can elaborate ?

I am a member on Imgur... where I show watches (time-piece) collections. Users are harsh when it comes to comments on all peoples content. It's a no holds barred community over there!! Funny GIF'S and images though!
I've had very few negative comments on the pictures I have publicly posted (I have actually gotten some pretty helpful constructive criticism on how to properly use a camera). i think it depends on the types of pictures you are posting and how you tag them as well. There are some topics I would never attempt to post to (politics/religion/comedy). Everything I put there is either for this site or random pictures I take. I like it better than the other image sites because of it's simplicity and the analytics feature. It's also a cheap place to store all your pictures. (I think it is 20 bucks a year for unlimited storage)
Sorry Jim, Lunch time and early evening Has given me quite a few Red Dots I am sure there are not 2 Planets called MARS! JP
