    Nice view of Venus if any star gazers care to look, if you look over the mountains to the west. at sunset. you will see Venus. If you look East you should see Jupiter around 8/12 pm. Clear weather allowing of course.

    Yes....it can often be seen in my home country also. My Father left me a whopping telescope and it is truly humbling to view the planet Venus on a crisp clear night.

    Full moon last night, Jupiter was near to the moon, well at least looked near, (500 million kilometers) give or take a few million.

    Also, if you look above Venus you should see Mars, it looks like a small red dot.:wideyed:
