:whistling: Being the Age I am, you can imagine how may Houses I have seen Spring up over the years. Now I have never tried one but the one thing I can always remember is the HOD. A device (For those that don't know and I am sure there are not many) for carrying bricks, Hollow Blocks and even Mortar/ Plaster
I am so surprised that having had my house build before my eyes, No one here seems to use them. or even give a thought to the Time saving that can be made or quick delivery of stuff to the Tradesman

This guy in the 60's MAX was a Plasterers Labourer and used an Oversize Hod to deliver Plaster mix to the Plasterer. He earned Double a day and went to work in His Rolls Royce Hods (Max the Plasters labourer).jpg
Maybe some Brits here will Remember Him.

Easy to make my carpenter tells me But I guess old habits die hard. Or lose face cos it is a Foreigner suggesting it.

Jack...this is what I was familiar with in the US, I have seen something similar for block as you posted but not here. Working harder, not smarter seems to be the way of doing things unfortunately.
