A residential house near the bank of the Banica River in Cadawinonan, Dumaguete City, was raided by the Provincial Intelligence Branch-Special Operations Group, headed by Senior Insp. Jul Mohammad Jamiri, on reports of activities involving illegal drugs.

The operatives searched the residence of Romeo Jardin, 52, who tried to prevent them from entering, because his real name was not reflected in the search warrant.

Ah! so they will do him for Impersonation of the guy named then,
Guess they have so many Alias's to avoid a warrant? but I would have thought, the Warrant was for the Address and not the person?

I think everything pretty much goes on addresses here as people dont' like to lose money, unpaid bills, taxes, debts. People have a way of disappearing here so it's an easy way of collecting money.
A lot of western countries the debt stays with the person not the property! I know of a few people who have rented/bought and been clobbered for outstanding debts.

Anyway he will probably go to jail in around 10 years unless he pays a large bail or does a runner!

I think a warrant can be issued for both a person and a property.

So then maybe, he could also be charged with Obstruction as well. I know when My neighbour was raided the warrant said 'Search the said Property and all persons found therein at the time of the execution of this Warrant to include all outbuildings' If my memory serves me right, it only stated the House owners name, not the tenant. But like most things I guess, mileage will vary Country to Country.
