@showpony Dave if you open the link and look at the requirements page it clearly states the 6 month rule. http://www.immigration.gov.ph/image...ersion to Non-Quota Immigrant by Marriage.pdf
Thanks Davy I printed out the checklist. He will need a police clearance from his home in Denmark. The BI did not mention authenticated or not, he will have to hope for the best as there is no Philippine Consulate in Denmark. Hopefully the rules do not change in the next few months.
@Show Pony Please double check on this Show pony, Authentication by a Consulate or Embassy was always one of the things stipulated, this is to ensure the Police stamps are Authentic. As I said before, the Web site is sometimes a little Ambiguous. Also it will need to be in English, if not then he will have to have it translated and then Authenticated. I do hate to be the bearer of any bad news but best to be on the cautious side where the BOI are concerned. also while we are here, he will need a translated copy of his Drivers license into English & Authenticated. if he intends to drive and obtain a PI Licence which he must after 90 days. Anything he brings to be used as credibility will have to be translated into English and Authenticated. It is all a pain in the backside I know but that is the way it is here, as I am sure you are aware. JP
