The eclipse started at 6.15. Looking pretty good now.

So I've been informed, when it turns red people need to be wary of the aswang!

And that was no kapre, I was just having a smoke at the top of the coconut tree trying to get a better view of the Eclipse.

This was a beautiful sight. Watched it for 2 hours. Nice clear sky.

Pretty cool to see, we were in the village for the day before fiesta. Clear skies so it was a perfect night to witness it.

I knew it was a full moon because it was light but I had too much cloud cover to see the moon. I tried several times and gave up. I think this was the one night in weeks it wasn't crystal clear. I didn't, however, miss the time-honored tradition of Easter morning firecrackers right outside the house between 2-2:30am.

Just as interesting as watching the eclipse was watching people looking for the moon after walking outside. It's the moon, shouldn't be too hard to spot. The eclipse was good for like 2 minutes of entertainment.
