Anyone familiar with Philhealth? I went to the Duma office, its 600 per quarter but all of the brochure info like whats covered is in tagalog..and my wife has a hard time explaining it. Is it worth getting for myself/wife? Anyone know whats covered, etc..?
It is for hospitalization and helps a lot. Highly recommended. You will be covered on your wife's coverage. I get it for my inlays as well so we don't get hit too hard if there becomes a problem.
HI M8 we have it, Flors is separate from mine we pay 600 a quarter i was only with them 2 months when i got the lens in my eye replaced. they paid 16th peso towards the opp that was 46th p in total for me it is well worth it .
Talking to a friend this morning from Dalguete, his daughter (4) was confined for 2 nights over the Weekend Turned out to be a small infection ( Stomach) The Total Bill came to 5.000. He paid 800 and Phil health took the rest. Pretty good I thought. We have it for us, TM and Mama ( although we will not have to pay for Mama next year as hers will be free.) Whilst it is not the perfect Answer it is worth it. And it will not Break the Bank. JP
Last year i paid 2,400pesos, recently i was confined for 4 days Philhealth paid 5,000pesos from my 120k hospital bill. I also went to SSS last month, and filed for benefits and was told to wait for 2-3months to claim.
It seems like the overall response is positive toward Phil Health. I am aware of their "office" at the Mall, but it is my understanding they do not sign up or initiate policies from that office. Does anyone know where the sign up office is located? What documents are required (birth certificate? etc) for signing up of Citizens and non-citizens.
Dave, we signed there in the mall, I think we pay p2,400 year but you cannot pay there, you have to go next door and pay in western union and then go back with your reciept. I think all you need is birth certificate and maybe id.
The main office is in daro above Mercury drug store on highway, near the crossing with the organic market. Try and avoid this place as much the same as trying to pay noreco bill, we were there once, looked in and turned around and left
