    I travel here in Duma always by pedicab...And on numerous occasions have had people in the front of the cab move out to the side..... so I could ride up front...It seems as though because I am an American .. they want to show me respect for some reason ... and I am very moved when they do that ... as... I do not feel I am more special than they...So when it does happen I pay there fare in respect back to them...

    I guess you are well known now then, :wink: At first Lenny nice move and kind yes but do you not thing you have made some sort of pesidence now. In that people look out for you and the driver stops for his friends to ride? :cautious:

    I doubt there is any type of standard being set for his act of kindness. It would be a completely unenforceable standard even if so.

    I was not intending it to be more than a Light hearted view of how some, may see this sort of things as a norm when 1 Kind natured person does as Lenny has done.
    Nothing about a standard or anything enforceable.

    looking for the word precedent? setting a precedent by paying the other fares.
