A guy (Filipino) was popped a few days ago in broad daylight near Ocean Side Resort at Zamboanguita. Friends of mine living nearby heard the shots, about 5 of them, all pumped into the guy. Apparently he owed the drug lords money, and was late in paying. He had already sold his motorcycle as part payment, but it was not enough. The Lords just simply sent out a message to others, that pay up in full, and on time, or else. Purps, all in black with black helmets, sped off on a motorcycle. The deceased left a wife and young family.
That will be a thing of the past soon as they are talking of banning full face helmets, masks and bandanas. Off course, the criminals will then comply and expose their faces
I call BS on the story. Dealers don't give out free product to customers, and certainly not in quantities that would warrant killing someone. The guy shot was selling or distributing (was given a large amount to sell) and used too much of the product himself and couldn't give the supplier the cut he expected. This is why users should not be trusted to sell.
...or perhaps its the age old competition for turf. Drug turf is at the core of so much violence. Whatever the case its always disheartening to hear these stories...
