    Smoke test? I'm in Bais, and I bought new a 2014 Honda Wave Dash and have been driving it for about 1.5years without plates.. I've even been waved through every checkpoint, and had bike taken in/instantly released no questions asked to even a DL or Registration!? when involved in 2 accidents... smoke registration sounds like they are just blowing "smoke" up ur a$$

    I bought my wife a Honda Beat from Du Ek Sam nearly 4 years ago. They ordered the plates from Bais and never did receive them. Did receive the tags a couple of years ago...

    i love the blame game..i go into Bais Du Ek Sam they blame it on Duma, Duma blames it on Cebu, Cebu blames it to Manila, lol

    PatO, it this really true...??!! Knowing you, you wont tell if not. I bought a Honda Scoopy in January 2014 and..........still no plates or what's ever.
    Taking into consideration your experience so far it takes a very long breath before (if ever) I will get the final plate. So still more fun in the PH.

    John, Du Ek Sam told us we have to go to Bais LTO to get the plate. When we call them, none in stock...

    So, if Du Ek don't care and LTO in Bais shows no interest @all, why should I worry about.
    Only wondering if ever the MC will be sold there will arise some registration problems for the parties involved (seller & buyer).
    Have really no idea.

    The plates themself are really quite irrelevant in the buying/selling of motorvehicles in the PI. OR/CR and deed of sale is all one really needs to worry about. At least, that is all I've ever been concerned with.
