Well not sure you mean that or not but just for those not Understanding. Prince William is the Son of Charles and Diana, Charles is the Heir to the British Crown. After his Father, this makes William Heir Apparent and second in line, His First born is 3rd in Line and the new Sister 4th in Line so it is very important to the Throne. Prince Harry does not Figure any more in the Line up. When Lizzy Retires or goes, We are of the opinion that Charles will Abdicate in favour of William, This is very Important as it will make the new Baby second in Line.
It is more Important as she is Princess Diana's Grand Daughter, my hopes are that Kate & William will name her Diana and install another Princess Diana for the People of Britain and the commonwealth.

I understand your reasoning, but the poor little kid named Diana, will have a life of being compared by the media and everyone else to her G/ma, that is on the negative side of it unfortunately..........Liz will probably not retire, she is a tuff old gal, and will probably die on the throne with her boots on.......lol...........she has had a remarkable reign that lady. We all hope Charley will not take up the crown, heaven forbid to have Queen Camilla.....lol..........Finally, you will have to excuse the Americans ignorance of all this.......lol..........................

Well of course whatever they name her she will be in the Limelight Forever As was/is her Father and Uncle "Harry" who I hope will never be pushed aside and Forgotten ( That Boy has balls)
As to Lizzy well on this you are Right, She vowed to her People "I will Rule the land Until l I Die" (Her words at her Coronation) although I would suspect it was not that Actual Statement but it is the meaning that is important.
Camilla of Course, is one of the reasons I feel Charles will not take the Throne 1. Age ( given that his Gran lived to be 101 Lizzy may have 20 years left yet) Not sure I would want the crown at 80+. 2. Because of Camilla and the Damage that was caused at the time. This man did not stop and Think and like is Younger Brother let the Little Head Rule him Not too Good a way to Rule a Country.

I am quite amazed at your remark about our US Cousins Roger, a little uncalled for I felt, I am not sure you can say "Ignorant" if they were never taught. Not that they should be of course, I know Little about the Administrations and or the Implications of the Government of the US, does this make me Ignorant?

The British Monarchy is a strange field even to us Brits At times, so I can quite understand the Strangeness to other nations that do not have Commonwealth Knowledge/Interest even.

Of course all this is only my Opinion for a Sunday morning.
