    If there is one foreigner kidnapping from a terrorist group/muslim gang in Dumaguete I'm moving it over to Iloilo. I'm not getting my head cut off because of the incompetence of the local government. The local politicians need to be taking this serious. I think they will see a mass exodus of expats if that starts happening (though some might be happy with that).

    Usually takes years to pay ransom.... If they ever get it. They always ask such ridiculous prices. If they made it reasonable they would have a better turn around.

    With that said one would think they would be beefing up security and taking and credible reports of their arrival very seriously.
    Let's hope the local LE is on top of their game.

    you would have to point one of these thugs out to them then wait a day for help to arrive.
    NBI are too busy with other things.
