I would not want a Dunkin Donuts shop here. Not enough retired U.S. police here to keep the shop going. lol

Popular for sure. When I lived in Taiwan I counted fourteen 711's visible from a major intersection in Taipei.
I found out how 711 got it's name.
Everyone used to think it meant open from 7:00 until 11:00
It turns out the real meaning is:
    IT'S ONLY WORTH 7
    but YOUR GONNA PAY 11.

I thought they already had one of those in Dumaguete. Filipinos are known for having a sweet tooth...might not be a bad investment.

I really thought it would be a good investment. From what PatO is saying it sounds like it is paying off for whoever bought into the franchise in Dumaguete. If it wasn't for that rule about being Filipino owned you would have seen one open its doors a couple years ago.

I just watched a video on this the other day. Looks like a terribly inefficient way to enter code.

We wrote code on paper forms so it was the keypunch girls who cut the cards. Probably 3 girls per programmer. I cherish the memories of 1968 in Chicago when our hundreds of keypunch girls all came to work bra-less for many weeks, we were bright-eyed staring at all those high-beams.

    HUH????

Well things have certainly changed from those "good ol' days" of 1968.

    Glad I adapted.

    I hope you have, too.

lol this is the off-topic thread. I move posts here when they aren't on topic of where they were originally posted. I'll move the posts about the GoPro into their own thread.

My goodness, where do you people go that you are seemingly looking over your shoulders for some to come get you.
In all my years here, I have never had a problem, the only gun I have encountered is the one the B........d shot me in the face with last year and gun or not that I never saw coming. and could have done nothing about. A poacher the Police think. In Fact a fellow member here is wanting to give theirs back for fear of his son reaching it, Now that is Responsible, Having a gun at home for protection is one thing but wanting to carry a concealed weapon to me is irresponsible for Responsible people that we all maintain to be and this my friends is about all I want or need to say on this subject So I will leave it with those that still feel the need to pursue it.
