My house in Valencia. Had a break-in and a helper stabbed. sh*t happens and I prefer to be prepared for the worst. I don't think taking it out in town is really called for though (unless you are going to the bank or carrying around a lot of cash to make a purchase).

 

I was out in town when it happened. I had a string of break-ins over the course of 2 months. Turned out to be two different people. I don't know who the first person was (that one who stabbed the helper...but I know why they tried to kill her and it had nothing to do with me so I didn't really worry about them coming back for me) but I know who the second one was. I never turned them in but I did let them know I have security cameras and the BS needed to stop. If I had the gun there is no way I would have felt threatened enough to shoot the second person (and they were stealing stuff to feed themselves and nothing of value...but all they had to do was ask and I would have given it to them).
